Year 10 Fast Forward University Day

Year 10 Fast Forward

On Tuesday the 26th of July, Year 10 Fast Forward students attended University Day titled “Good Habits Last a Lifetime”.

The day was centred on Sean Covey’s book titled The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens. Through interactive activities the University Fast Forward team aimed to provide an insight into the principles behind the habits and give some food for thought on how students can begin to incorporate the seven habits in their day-to-day life.

The Fast Forward workshops illustrated each of the seven habits and how students can use them effectively to enhance their academic, social and leadership potential.

The seven habits are:

Be Proactive
Begin with the End in Mind
Put First Things First
Win-Win
Seek First to Understand then to be Understood
Synergise
Sharpen the Saw

Our Year 10 Fast Forward students participated in many activities with students from Auburn Girls High School, Fairfield High School and Granville Boys High School developing Good Habits for a Lifetime of Success.

Lily-Rae Oakley was very luck to be one of the winners of Sean Covey’s book. All students are encouraged to borrow The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens from the Junior Campus Library.

Congratulations to the following students who attended the Western Sydney University Year 10 Fast Forward University Day; your participation on the day was commendable.
