Welcome to St Andrews College
St Andrews College, a Catholic co-educational secondary school (Year 7-12) is part of St Andrew the Apostle parish, Marayong. We are committed to a personalised, relevant and meaningful learning experience for every student. With a strong record of academic, sporting and cultural achievement, students are presented with a range of learning options tailored to their abilities and needs.
Calculators in Mathematics
A reminder, that even though calculators are not used every day in class, all students are expected to have a scientific calculator with them for each lesson unless their teacher has told them otherwise.
There are many different iPad Calculator Apps in the App Store, however because iPads cannot be used in tests, students need to be familiar with the correct use of their scientific calculator and should always use them in class in preference to any calculator Apps that they may have.
In particular, Years 7 & 9 will have to make sure that they have calculators in time for their NAPLAN tests in May.
