PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT

At St Andrews College we believe that parents are the first educators of their children. It is very important that parents continue to take an active part in their child’s education.

The following are the ways parents can become involved at St Andrews College:

Reading The College News

Stay informed about student achievements, meetings, committees, and what’s happening in the College community, by reading The College News. It is emailed every second Friday and archived on the school website.

Assemblies

Assemblies are a time when our school showcases and celebrates students’ talents and achievements. Parents are always welcome to join us in the hall, on the Junior Campus every second Monday (Week one of the timetable) at 9:00am.

Sports Carnivals

Support your children by cheering them on as they try for a personal best! Read The College News for times and locations, or refer to our upcoming events calendar.

Volunteer Training

We welcome the contribution volunteers make to the life of our school.

As we are committed to keeping students safe, all volunteers in schools are required to complete the building child safe communities undertaking form and child protection training module before volunteering. These checks reduce potential risk and forms part of our strategy to build child safe communities.
