The Bring It On Dance Festival was held on Saturday the 10th of September at the Homebush State Sports Centre.
Our students represented St Andrews College with such pride and passion in a battle against 20 other secondary schools from NSW.
This is the first time that St Andrews College has entered the Competition. It was a truly fantastic experience with a large and receptive audience.
The Bring It On Dance Festival is a high energy dance event – primarily hip-hop focussed. It features a diverse range of secondary schools, each bringing to the stage five minutes of urban dance. This event encourages participation across all spheres of life and showcases creativity and immense talent.
Mr Chiappetta would like to thank all 36 Year 11 and Year 12 dancers involved. Your creativity and commitment to the Bring It On Dance Festival project was truly admirable.
A big to congratulations goes to Dana Gwyther for her co-ordination of rehearsals and choreography throughout the project.
Thank you also to Miss Desira who assisted on the day.
The 2017 auditions will include all students from Year 7 – Year 12.
