Another amazing Creative Arts Night at St Andrews College. This year the Year 11 Hospitality students had the privilege of running their first coffee cart.
Thanks to the wonderful skills from Jacob El-Saidy, Taylah Crook, Jacob Joseph, Ashley Russell, Jade Crooker and Ancilla Toenroe parents and students were able to enjoy hot coffees, chai lattes, hot chocolates, flat whites and lattes.
Thank you to all the students who ran an excellent cart - it was another professional element of CAN 2015!

Commitment to Close the Gap clear for Western Sydney Catholic schools
Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) has released its first annual Closing the Gap report. This report outlines its contribution to improving socio-economic outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, particularly students and their families. CSPD Chief Executive Officer Jack de Groot said the report reflects the dedication of CSPD’s 6 500 staff in fostering reconciliation and equity through the organisation’s 80 outstanding school across Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains.

Bishop of Parramatta recognises student excellence
Each year, one Year 12 student in every Catholic secondary school in the Diocese of Parramatta is awarded the Bishop of Parramatta Award for Student Excellence. This prestigious award is nominated by the school principal and recognises a student’s witness to their Catholic faith and outstanding contribution to the school community in areas such as academic excellence, sporting achievement, creative and performing arts, social justice, vocational education and community involvement.
