On Tuesday the 18th of July, Year 10 Food Technology students participated in the Sydney Eye Tower Excursion.
This excursion gave the students a real experience of a successful and well-known establishment.
The students were well informed and gained valuable knowledge about seasonal produce, different types of menus and celebrations. They also learned how the front-of-house and back-of-house operations are conducted each day. The staff from the Sydney Eye Tower shared the different catering opportunities at the Tower.
"We loved seeing and learning in a real world environment", said some of the students. "The view, experience and food was amazing", they continued.
The students are looking forward to the Staff High Tea later this term!
