During the mid-year break a group of sixteen students from Year 9 to Year 11 travelled to Japan accompanied by Mrs Osterlund and Mr Roseby.
After a week of cultural and historical learning in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Hiroshima and Miyajima, they arrived in Nagasaki and Isahaya.
Students prepared information on all the various UNESCO World Heritage sites. Once in Isahaya students joined their homestay families.
Each day our students participated in the life of Isahaya Commercial High School, attending a variety of classes and activities. On reflection, the best part of the study tour was living with their host families for a week.
Congratulations to each student!
